For anyone driving be aware the Spur Road (between Ringwood and Bournemouth) has major roadworks and could put an extra half hour or hour on you journey. Its a right cunt particularly between 4-6 pm.

Apparently there is an excellent chippy to the left of the entrance to the pier. SIlver rectangular building... I don't know the name unfortunately but will be searching for it.

Old Christchurch Road seems to be the best bet after

Turn off at Ringwood and follow signs first to Christchurch then to Bournemouth.
If the Spur Road is as fucked as it was in September then that's what you'll be best off doing.
